Tonights was great. Knives really work well.

My only question with the knife is this: Shane used it earlier to stab the sheriff walker in the head. fast forward and he's cutting his hand open with it in the bus. Now 28 days later comes to mind in the sense that anything bio blood, bites, bodily fluids, etc that comes into contact and enters the bodies system now turns that body into a walker.

Anyone else catch that?

The blonde wanting to off herself, glad that's over with. Looking forward to next weeks.

i thought rick was gonna leave shane then he blasted some zombies drive by style and picked up shane. that escape was good, but i do think they need shane in a way. rick isnt as brutal when it comes down to it. you need to be pritty cutthroat in that type of world... rick just needs to keep a close eye on shane... if they lose shane the only "tough" guys are rick and the boondox saints guy and hes pritty much out for himself at this point it seems...

Did the walker in the field represent anything?

That was discussed on "The Talking Dead" show afterward, and "teased" to a good degree. I was thinking the same, but everyone who has offed a zombie and had zombie pus land on them is potentially now infected. Darryl eats plenty of tree-rats that he's skewered with his crossbow bolts, which he's also skewered zombies with. Let's hope he's cooked them throughly.........
Those two cops offed last night: no scratches/bite marks.
Shane talked about a "few crazy stories first, then all hell broke loose" when he and Rick were having their "alpha dog" talk/fist fight.
Virus? Bio-weapon? Nature resetting itself?

Hella cool anyways, like seeing the "up-close-and-personal" zombie killings myself.
I thought it was curtains fo Shane in the schoolbus (that scene pays homage to Resident Evil 2-thanks for that) until Rick comes across the two cops they offed. I imagine that it reminded him of the "old days" of rousting hookers and winos with Shane before the apocalypse, so he went back for him.
Sniff and the Tears "Drivers Seat"?
Blast from the past, I haven't heard that song since 1978..............
Nice work this week, keep it up guys...........
I think the cops were there to foreshadow something else...they mentioned they didn't have any bite marks and yet they turned into walkers. But they did have scratch marks and that is the most likely way they got infected. So they know they figured out it is more easily spread than thought.

they could have got damaged after turning as well. my first thought was it went airborne.
that cant be the case though rick would have been infected if so.
btw, zombie kill of the week goes to rick w/ the through one skull to another shots!
