I almost always make 2l of green tea with honey and freeze it before a day of paintball. Nothing is nicer when you're overheated.

Though, during the winter I've found that I really enjoy "Kyoto Cherry Rose Festival" tea. I don't know what it is, but it's sooooo mellow. You wanna sit down and just relax after a couple sips.

Interesting, I've never seen a chinese restaurant serve puer ... high or low end. Maybe it could have to do with regional influences. If puer isn't it, straight oolong or oolong-jasmines are probably where to look.

Generic "green teas" you often find in supermarkets aren't much like Chinese style tea of any type.

BTW I believe puer is closer to green classification, despite the dark brew.

I don't know how authentic Temple of Heaven Gunpowder Green tea is, but it's excellent.

I drink both tea and coffee but most of the time I drink tea. My girlfriend and I even started a tea/tea culture club at our highschool.
My current favorite is Samurai Chai Mate by Teavana.
Although my overall favorite is Sencha Green tea. Matcha sometimes.

Cheaper restaurants use a jasmine-oolong blend.
its fermented farther than most black tea

and i am drinking positively divine oolong that my aunt sent my mom we have one ball left we are saving for a very special occasion it is very high grade whole hand rolled leaves wrapped around a single orchid blossom it's like drinking a spring sunset

I'm a milk tea guy. Hong Kong/Singapore style Black tea with ice and condensed milk. I also love a good Chai Masala.

Like a brand? I actually get most of my loose leafs from Lupicia, but good online retailers or local boutique tea shops should be able to hook you up with some quality stuff.

Most chinese restaurants will serve Chrysantheum tea. Occasionally you'll find jasmine (both taste pretty similar to me anyways). And rarely, you'll find oolong (reallly strong stuff).

Chrysantheum is really cheap yet tastes quite nice.
