OK back story, my girlfriend just text me and told me she hit a sign with her car, so that got me to thinking and i figured I would lay this question to the masses. While driving or riding or generally just moving what have you hit? And I'll start it off, one night I was driving home and i accidentally hit a raccoon that was standing on its hind legs looking at me.

Aside from a random squirell probably or winter sliding into a snowbank... nothing. But I did watch my wife hit a parked car on my motorcycle while I was teaching her how to drive one (we were just dating at the time). She drove about 20 feet and hit the bumper of the car. Never turned. She was only doing 5 MPH at best in the parking lot. No damage to her or the car, so I didn't care. Silly girl... First thing she said when she stood up was "Is the bike ok?" I told her screw the bike... How was she... She was fine. She got back on and knows how to drive them now.

I don't remember if or what I might have hit regarding small animals, other than a bird. However, I distinctly remember hiting a deer. That ruined my morning... I did bump the wall slightly at a gas station when I was trying to back my truck away from the gas pumps when I was a teen. More recently, but still a couple years ago, I hit my Oldsmobile while trying to park my Camaro. That's my life story of unintentional vehicle contact right there. yeah it would, I know my dad hit a dear in a suburban, did $4000 worth damage to the truck and the dear walked away...probably died later in the ditch though.
