lol, I carry a full size H&K USP 40. It aint tiny, but it gets the job done. ![]() Been thinking of picking up Kimbers RCP II so I can actually carry without my gearslinger. I dont see myself getting into any "13 round" scenarios. And Id really like to bump up to the .45 cartridge.

might I expand this topic a little? I have had my permit for many years now, carried a 1911 in my 3 years in iraq/afghanistan, but have neveractually conceal carried even though I had the permit. Where do you guys conceal th guns? I wear t-shirt and khaki shorts most of the time, so I am not really sure how I can effectively conceal. |

I have a Smith and Wesson model 6904 for carry. It usually resides in a belt slide holster at the small of my back, though it's uncomfortable to carry that way when I'm driving. I've found that cargo pants or BDU's allow me to drop it into one of the thigh pockets with some degree of concealment but the gun does shift around quite a bit that way.

Ruger LCR Ruger LCR Double-Action Revolver Light as can be, Great trigger, shoots +P rounds so its actually only a few hundred Fps below a .357. filling up an 8" target at 25 yards..I think the smooth trigger really helps with this, if it was hard to pull and I started shaking then it would show in my groupings. I know to some "Filling an 8" target at 25 yards" isnt that impresive but when you consider that its a snub nose I think it brings things back into perspective...its not a distance shooter. Using a Leather inside the pants holster, nice and snug under just an untucked Tshirt. |

SA XDm in .40 I don't have a problem concealing it or any printing issues whatsoever. I carry deep with a Crossbreed holsters Supertuck with V clips and a Cross breed carry belt. The only issues I had were with the weight not working well with a normal belt, the Crossbreed is amazing. I wear it around the 3 or 330 position.

I turn 21 in may, and after doing quite a bit of research and range time, I'm pretty set on a Glock 27 with Night Sights and possibly a Lasermax for my concealed weapon. Small and light and with the lasermax replacing the guide rod laser, no additional parts hanging off it, etc. We've got a 23 at our house and it's just a good gun, and the .40 S&W with the short barreled 27 will still have more than enough power to get the job done. And a nice thing about the 27, it can accept 23 and 22 magazines.

When I carry, which isn't very often, I pack a Walther PPK/S chambered in .380 holstered in a back of the pants (in the pants) clip-on style holster. Worn under a sweater, blazer or barn coat, it doesn't show. Being a thin gun, it is fairly comfortable. The Ruger LCR is TINY and a decent gun. |
