Concealed Carry Folks: Whatcha Be Packin'?

DISCLAIMER: I don't want this to turn into a political debate over the practicality and whatnot of concealed carry. I just like guns.

So when I turned 21, I went out and purchased a FNP-9. TERRIFIC handgun in every sense. Love it to death. It's essentially a cheaper (in price, not quality) version of the Sig-Saur P226. However, it is not a thin gun, and is not very practical for carry. I'm now looking at getting a Smith and Wesson Model 642 Airweight revolver in .38 special.

That got me thinking: What do you carry folk carry and prefer? Autos? Revolvers?

I guess in the long run, this is yet another "show us yer gunz!" thread.

I would shoot some with a wheel gun before picking one up for carry. They shoot different than an auto.

As of right now, I carry nothing. When I did carry, a Caspian 1911.

I've shot my fair share of wheel guns, and honestly, I prefer them. Something about them seems... right...

Anyway, for a mere $200 more at my local gunshop, I can get a full-sized Colt (yes, Colt) 1911 at $699. I'm very tempted, but it's just not practical for me. And carrying a full-sized 1911 is a feat all in itself.

I do like my Taurus. It feels like it fits, especially with those grips on it.

All the same, that CZ's pretty much a part of my arm, by now. That thing isn't well-engineered, it's organic.

You get what you pay for. With that in mind I would not depend on a 200 dollar gun to protect me or my family.
Sig p-220 45acp in the winter.
Sig p-229 40s&w in the summer.

Ruger SP101 with 3" barrel. My airweight basically sits in the safe alongside my Glock 23. Beretta Tomcat for pocket carry.

when I carry concealed I carry my keltec p3at in my front right pocket. When I dont I carry my springfield XD9. I like the SW airweights, but they are too big/bulky to carry concealed without wearing baggy cloths.
