Always buy from someplace you know.

Not sure if this is appropriate, but it will make me feel better.
I had this back n' forth with a "customer service person" today:

Hi,
I just recieved my order today. The box appeared to be intact, with no damage or evidence of rough handling.

Upon openning the box inside the box which held the well padded Guerrilla Air tank, my eyes were immediately drawn to the chip on the bottom of the tank. It concerns me greatly that a pressure vessel, which obviously came into contact with a harder object, was shipped to me knowing that I plan to bring it to someone who will likely refuse to fill it.

I know your policy is "no tank returns", but my policy is "no tank damage." How can we rectify this?

Thanks,
Jay

LOL your no tank damage was funny. It was probably a bubble from the epoxy. We can get it swapped out for you. Do you have a way to take a picture of the bubble? Its so we can forward it to guerrilla.

***I sent two pics. It looked like someone dropped it on a concrete floor, then slipped it back in the box. Just a small chip, size of a dime, but I wouldn't leave a store with it.***

I've attached a couple pictures. It's not horrible, just dissappointing to see something blemished right out of the box. The comments I deleted about going to 'jersey to see Gino were even funnier!

Oh that’s just a 62/3000 Aluminum tank. I thought you were talking about carbon fiber. That’s just a paint job bubble. Those tanks are shipped to us in boxes of 30 I think all right next door to each other. So they can get dinged up. We can swap it out for you if you want, but sometimes it can be like that. All we would do it take a sharpie to it. It just a matter of if you wanted to use it this weeknd or not.

***the "website" is based in Massachusetts, the package was drop shipped from you-know-where New Jersey***

I'm sorry. I'm not having a great day so far.

It's actually a 48/3000, if you want to be specific. Are they shipped loose in the same box with the 62's? And then you put them in individual boxes with bubble wrap, drive them to New Jersey and ship them back? Now I'm being facetious.

Also a little dissapointed the hydro date is a year old, meaning the tank's really a year closer to the scrap pile, unless I want to pay $30 or so to rehydro it... which is maybe what I should have done.

I'm really just disgruntled because Tiderius' Forum thinks I was born in 2010, and won't let me post anything unless they get my mother's permission. I'm 36. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Even tried sweeping the cookie crumbs from my browser... My point being that their holster looks nice, but could use some improvement. The marker hangs on the front sight. If I need to wrestle it out with both hands, how will my nephew do it on the field? If the retention strap was adjustable, you wouldn't need to jam the marker so deep that the front site catches. Alternately, if the holster tip was closed over the barrel end, the sight couldn't get hung up, nor would you get hassled at fields for not having a barrel blocking device in use, when it's holstered. All great points, which they'll never hear, because I have to wait until June this year to be born. Makes you wish Y2K worked.

Sorry about the rant. I've learnt my lesson, again.

Sincerely,
Jay

Who cares where it's shipped from, from what I read they are more than willing to accommodate you for a return despite their no tank return policy. I say get over it and ship the tank back if you're that worried about it.

Cool swag to promote your sport!

Honey badger don't care! Honey badger don't give a @#$%.

Shipped price is valid to domestic buyers and will be USPS priority. International buyers are welcome, but will cover additional costs. Purchase of insurance is the buyers option. I will help out in the event of any shipping issues, but I will assume no financial responsibility once the package ships

I was just disappointed to get something that was chipped.

In my mind, it was shipped that way.

The customer service person didn't bother looking at the order, rather just explained that it was "a bubble from the epoxy" then it became "a paint job bubble" when I told them it was an aluminum tank.

The customer service person made the excuse that they get shipped to them in bulk and probably got bumped that way.

Well, that's a lie, because it got drop shipped from a warehouse 4 states away. I have no use for a "customer service" person that's going to lie to me.

So, I send the tank back and they break out the SHARPIE? That's what they said they do!?!? Then they ship it to some other buyer... nice.

Maybe if you called Guerrilla and told them the situation, they would do something. I know this sounds pointless because it's between you and xxxpaintball.com, but the people at Guerrilla are super nice and I feel like they would help you in some way.

they offered to fix the problem
you're blowing this way out of proportion

just ship it back and get an unblemished one, pretty simple if you ask me

P.S. no fill station personel are going to refuse that tank, it's just a chip in the pain, which is in now way vital to the safety of the tank

Most customer service agents lie - they have to to be able to get their jobs done. He told you a "white" lie or two. About shipping, the paint job and most likely the sharpie.

You're getting a replacement product so no complaints.
