what you bbq for the 4 of july

i made 2 racks baby back ribs in dr.pepper bbq sauce and had tri-tip roast too. all smoked Kingsford® Charcoal with Mesquite and Jack Daniel's Wood Smoking Chips all from barrels they use to make Jack Daniel's whiskey. also made 10 ears of corn corn bread and bush bake beans basic one.

I grilled some corn and a TON of tenderloin
it was awesome

I need to use the smoker more, it makes great salmon tho!

some ribs, chicken breasts, and baked beans... yesterday though. been raining here all day. Neighbor has a bunch of "fish" we are talking about having both smokers going and deep frying some and stuff.

I had the gayest 4th bbq ever. Soy/wasabi marinated tuna steak, an avocado, a pear and some wasabi almonds.

If you went with sake you could have salvaged that by calling it a theme and hoped no one looked too closely.
I BBQ'd two really nice racks of ribs, with some really nice and spicy sauce and marinate I made.
Although it was more a coincidence I did them today then anything else, had them left over from Canada day.

Yeah, unfortunately all I had was beer and absinthe, and I figured if I ended up with beer at least I could pretend to be American.
