This is awesome man! I guess if it were me I'd tough out the winter as best as possible and bust *** starting in the spring to set up a water heater, R13+ Fiberglass insulation, seetrock, and potentially a chimney in the center of the barn. That barn loft could be amazing if you insulate and sheetrock it out, with a central chimney you could do dual fireplaces on the ground and loft level and if you are so inclined you could make this a wood heated home, looks like you have plenty of firewood to start, I know some folks up here in Minnesota that do that over gas.

This could make an amazing home.

When I looked at that roof all I kept thinking about was how many solar panels you could put up.

For that size of building and where you are I'd be looking at going R20 for the insulation.

The greatest want of the world is the want of men- men who will not be bought or sold, men who in their inmost souls are true and honest, men who do not fear to call sin by it's right name, men who's concience is as true to duty as the needle to the pole, men who will stand for the right though the heavens fall.
