The one's I've been able to research down here seem to be either mallcop types or the type that bring about the bad stereotypes of militias.

That said, we're all "the militia" by definition. I really wish there was a good well organized one down here.

I've been reading this thread for the past couple weeks, which really got my interest up in getting myself a revolver style handgun (as my first handgun, I do have a couple of .22 rifles though). Looking around on the sites some of you have posted, I stumbled across this,
Leinad DD 45lc/410 double barrel derringer 11" NIB : Other Pistols at GunBroker.com

I really kinda want one now.

I'm not sure 11" qualifies as a derringer for most people. I guess you could rig up an inner thigh holster to really impress(scare) the ladies. I see they do also offer it in a 3".

Yep, not what I would call a derringer but it sure does look badass. That might actually be a pretty decent backpack gun for using on nasty snakes while hiking in the woods.

its a .45LC and 410. It would be great to shoot. It'd be fun practicing hip shooting. Backpack gun is a good idea, or in a truck door pocket, or whatever. Looks like a fun one for sure!

My mom had one similar to this but it also had a skeletonized folding stock on it.

it looks rad. but a word of caution....
sort of related, i bought a ranch hand for the cool factor and honestly its about the most worthless gun ever. lol
i'd like to talk to my local shop about doing the class 3 paper work and put a full stock on it.

Can anyone confirm if a CCI Phantom 45 grip frame will fit an ar15? I am thinking it will but would like a 2nd opinion. I would really like to put a 45 on my bullpup project and some cool paintball gun grips.
