One down, several to go.

One of the projects I've been working on, is finally done. Customer picked it up yesterday, and was very thrilled. Thought you guys would wanna see.

With any luck, I'll have another done by end of the week. And continue as quickly as I can.

That truely is a beautiful piece of art there, I can see why the customer was thrilled. If you don't mind me asking, how much does something like that cost? That is a shoulder pad, right?

Thank you, I'm actually excited to be getting stuff done and out. Been working on/looking at for what seems like forever. The drv's I think will be a fun group of projects that I'm looking forward to. For the record, my goal is to have all current work out and done before the new year, and have new work brought in and being worked in by then. Fingers crossed.

Phoenix- It's actually a bracer, covers from wrist to elbow, those fleur-de-lys' are actually a bit smaller than a dime. To repeat this project (or similar), it'd be $75 for the bracer, and $75 for the crest. I got my arse kicked by a bad quote on this one. Keep in mind, there was a lot of resizing, resketching, imprinting, tooling, and painting to get that crest just right. Rather proud of it though.

usagi_tetsu- Thanks! Always love hearing feedback on work.

You should be proud of that, it is amazing and truely beautiful. If someone made something like that for me I would be proud to have it. I understand all to well on quoting a price and then it turns out you were way off on the time it would take to make it. For me and my dad, it usually involves steel (we're blacksmiths, I'm a 4th generation). Seems like you have to make it once before and then you have a pattern and good idea of the time it would take to make it from start to finish.
