How to hook my brother back in?

Ok so idk if any of you remember HardR0ck68 but we was definitely the more paintball addicted brother of the two of us. As time went on I got had cycles of being into it and out and now having finally found a good close field I am all about playing in the spring/summer. He has since moved on to boring things like motorcycles and hunting elk (little Maine joke for ya). Just starting with the fact that the man is a walking computer of paintball info and tech fixes, and moving on to his well maintained collection of guns. Like that man needs to be playing, especially since other then paintball the two of us don't get along. So I come before the collected masses of MCB as a humbled man asking for your support, what can you guys come up with to get him back interested in Paintball? I've already said that I can drive us to LL4 but other then that I am stumped.

Anyone have Tom Kaye owe you a favor where you can get him to call and say that the sport misses him? Anyone know where AGD Clare went after she lost the AGD part? If so maybe you can have her send him an email inviting him to LL4.

People generally don't quit for the reason that they just don't want to play anymore, it's the family or job that gets them 99% of the time. But once you've been hooked by this sport it never truely leaves you. Therefore I've found the only way to get them back is to drag them kicking and screaming out to a field. Once there they generally realize how much fun they used to have with it and want to try to work it into their lives again. Sometimes it's not on the level they used to play at but that is ok, some is better than none, right?

That or find yourself a good witch doctor to put a hex on their ***!

You could build on this with some sort of sincere, heartfelt message. "Hey man, I know we're at odds most of the time, but it wasn't like that in paintball. I miss the good times blah blah blah and would love it if you'd come play some time."

Ask him to tech your gun. Tell him it shoots inconsistently about every 12th shot. by the time he gets to 11, he'll be hooked again.

You may not be able to hook him as he may be done with paintball. I've had a couple hobbies where I was completely immersed and somewhat of an expert on. Spent all my money and time on it and burned out.

Pack all your gear and his old gear in your trunk, say your going to get something to eat and drive to a paintball field.

Its just like taking a dog to the vet.

Sounds like me, I haven't gotten sick of the game though.. I just told my friends they are going to learn to tech their own crap, or it's not getting teched at all.

Have a birthday party, or get married or something to have the excuses of celebrating with a private pb game, invite him... bam..
