I need to reg. the 850 psi coming out of a hpa tank down to 100 for my senior design project. I know I could just run over to palmers and pick up a $100 reg, Im hoping someone could point me in the right direction of a cheaper source of regs that can handle ~1k psi input. Ive been looking through McMaster Carr already, everything I see has a ~300 psi max input. -Thanks |

A used rock/micro rock should do what you need, and used, they seem to be running about $35-50. No need to spend extra, or reinvent the wheel.

pk5, a paintball reg is going to work fine, in fact that's my current plan I just want to make sure there isn't a well known source for regs that handle the same pressures but aren't geared for paintball in case they were cheaper.
