Here's my 99 Wide Glide. Swapped out the bars, headlight, directionals, air cleaner, seat, and some other stuff. The apes sit just below my shoulders which is a really comfortable riding position for someone who's 6'4.

Well, I decided not to pick up the 650R, it is about 7 hr's away, and my cousin can't bring it. For 3200, I would like to see what I am buying before purchasing (pics aren't good enough) for something expensive. I feel bad backing out, but it is what it is..

On the bright side, making an offer on an R6 here as well as a CBR (both in area).

IE You brought a pretty bad example to light.

You would have been better off to hold the opinion that falling over in a garage isn't a crash and not mentioned it.
Maybe if I had wrote it as "fell over in their garages" you might have got what I meant by the statement.

Or maybe "tipped over in the driveway."

Or insert excuse for rashed bike here ____________________________.

So I found an 06' CBR600F4I. 5k miles, excellent condition. The guy wants 6200 for it. I am thinking about offering 5400. KBB says 4000 something is the excellent cond. resale, but KBB hasn't always shown to be the best reference.
Thoughts?

I'd say a big no on that, i see lots of bikes around here 06 and up go for 4k or so, I'd NEVER offer someone more than book value. Most people around here trying to sell their "custom" bikes dont understand if you take a 5k dollar bike, strech it and do all kinds of other stupid stuff to it only brings the value down. The blue book price is normally for an Immaculate bike anyway, too many people call their stuff "better than new"

and heres my beat up 400 dollar bike that cost me fricking 400 dollars in taxes %#$#@$ing government.

Haha I figure, I will offer but idk what he will consider a lowball.. Hopefully his OBO really means OBO...

EDIT: This is FL, Bikes, convertibles and wrangler prices are jacked...

Edit: http://pensacola.craigslist.org/mcy/2370166874.html

Here is the bike.. Reasonable offer would be...? It has about 5k miles.
