Nothing wrong with leathers...they are safer than nothing at all, and actually hold up somewhat well. As to helmet choice....I am right there with you....I saw no point getting a bike to cover my face and not feel the wind.....

Ugh, death wobble. Awful in a Jeep with an badly-done lift, and even worse in a Harley.

That's just horrifying, right there.

I had an 85 RZ350 that if you even blinked while doing 85mph or faster, the wobble was scary. If you could just keep it all smooth, then no problem

THE-SHOOTIST Anyone chubbin' like me for this?
mailmanmike Since Monday! That's more than 4 hours though, so according to those cialis ads I should see my doctor.
tlane77 I think for a non-chemical chubby it's 6 hours before its time to see a doctor. So you should be good for another couple hours.
splattttttt I wasn't goin to google "chubbin" because I assumed it had to do with fat. The lard type, not the fun stuff. But what ever feelings Jeff's experiencing, then they must be of the fun like stuff...
tlane77 He's got a woody for your woods.

My trike had wicked death wobble, but that was me being a herp-a-derp designer. Next one will have correct steering geometry.

Okay, so I found a jacket I like. I am about 5' 6" tops, about 150 lbs and about a 30" waist. I tried on a jacket (not leather) by A* that was a medium and fit okay, but this size chart seems to put me at XS or S. I suppose I should try ordering a small? Any opinions here? Just to confirm I am not reading anything wrong.
Any help:

Guess being one of the Geezers within the sport, having a M/C worthy of 8-10 hour days and 300+ mile rides comes with age.

Speaking of riding gear, I picked up a Sedici jacket from cycle gear and really like it, Full preforated leather, fits snug but not insanely tight, and is nice and soft, not stiff as hell like the frank thomas stuff. Usually i wear that jacket, pair of kevlar jeans and my A* boots and thats my riding setup, doesnt look too over the top, just jeans and a black jacket.
