So I saw the bike today, and put down some money. He's delivering it tomorrow

So, I should have enough money for a basket-case to build up. I'm on the hunt now. Specifically looking for a Bonnie. Can't decide between the T120 or the T140. The 140 had a 750cc motor, which was 100cc larger than the 120, but the 70's and 80's, of when which the T140 was being produced, was not a nice time for vehicles. The 650s in the T120 seem to be a popular platform for modders. I'm still wanting a salt flat bike, so I'm bearing that in mind, but I'm really leaning towards the smaller 120. I'd like to keep it under 750cc because that's its own class at the flats.

The T120 is the more popular of the bikes, especially when custom bikes come into play.

See, that's what I thought. That generally means two things: it's a better motor, and it'll have more support. I'll probably go T120.

Bike insure really varies by who you chose to carry it though. I just ran a quote on the same bike with the same coverages though progressive, geico, state farm and allstate.
Allstate-$63.00
Progressive-$103.00
State Farm-$154.92
Geico-$275.57

I was running a quote for a CBR1100xx, and I'm 22 so yea its expensive.
Limits were 50k/100k/25k with a 500 ded. for comp and 1000 ded for collision.

ALLSTATE sucks, never been treated so badly by my own insurance company.

I hear state farm is good with bikes. Once I find one and buy, I am looking into state farm and USAA most likely.
