The pic does it too much justice. She's in dire need of a cleaning, inside and out, I'm sure. There are a couple deep scratches on the tank, and a nice ding. Thankfully, the metal didn't crease or anything. The oil tank covers' paint is a bit Sun-faded, so I assume it's been sitting outside for extended periods at some point or another. Also, the seat cushioning is a bit worn... Still, she runs strong, though she needs some convincing to kick over.

Maaaaan, as my first two-stroke, I have no idea why you Harley folk laugh at 'em. I absolutely LOVE the way it sounds! Like an angry weed-whacker!
That looks awesome. Love the colors.

Try riding it some time...it has become my most favorite so far haha. The rumble of that V-twin, the power band, and great cornering make the RC51 one mean machine.

Only a T2 can do that.

Well I have been riding my KLR 250 around for quite a while and I want something with a little more power to ride with. I need advice on my next bike. I have been riding for quite a while now but never got on anything more than my fathers DR350 for more than 3 miles or so. I was thinking of going for a ratbike of some sort under 700cc. I just need advice on the whole starting out as a road warrior. Like I said I have been riding my KLR and I have the budget of a KLR rider too (less than 2200) and so I was thinking something like a Ninja 500R or a GS500. Any help would be awesome, my riding will be about 80% street and 20% gravel/dirt roading(nothing too bad) and I was planning on semi-ratting the bike out.

Here's the KZ440. It's a real bitch to get started when it's cold, but after it warms up, it's great.

How do you like the disco-era Vetter fairing? That might be going bye-bye.

That fairing is a piece of work. Right to the curb with it.

I say keep the fairing. That thing is straight out of Mad Max. Drive it to Thunderdome in your football pads and assless chaps.
