I've seen some fun things done to old fairings like that, they just need to fit the application. | |

The windshield is cracked by the mounts, so I could see it coming off at 70mph and decapitating me. Soon as I can source a headlight and bracket, I'll pull that bad boy off there. Who wants it? I'd also like to swap out the goofy-bend bars for something a little straighter.

Z bars would just look silly on this. Hmm...clip ons, or apes? Gunman, it's in great condition and only has 22k miles on it. Looking forward to getting 50-60mpg instead of the 15ish from the red Dakota in that pic.

| Space Monkey 615 !!! | I would order a TCBros weld on hardtail for that XS650 and do it the right way Yamaha XS650 Weld On Hardtail : TC Bros. Choppers LLC , TC Bros. Choppers LLC Otherwise nice start Here is the what I have gotten done to my XS650 so far ( '81 TCI motor ) I am starting to take the rear swing arm and other frame parts off to prep it for a TCBros weld on hardtail ( '79 Frame w/rear disc brake ) When I get back from Fort Lee, VA ( ALC Phase 2 ) I hope to start on it once again and finish up the TCBros hardtail frame and start to rebuild the motor...
