Clean but after a boatload cash, Full motor job, and big change from how I picked it up. The story was the bike was a early 80's "show" bike.

I just got my 81 xs400 special II running properly. The carbs were all gummed up, and no fuel was reaching the choke side of the carb.
Now I just need to find a front tire and get it saftied!

Tell me why I had to be a powerslave.
I don't wanna die, I'm a god, why can't I live on?
When the Life Giver dies, all around is laid waste.
And in my last hour,
I'm a slave to the power of death.

You should check out the M1030M1. It's a military dirt bike capable of 96 mpg on diesel. There's a civilian version to, but I forget what it's actually called, it's a kawasaki.

Those things are HEAVY as hell though, almost 400 pounds before fuel/oil/my fat ***, and also are expensive as heck, running 18-20 grand. I wonder if it would be possible to convert an old beater dirt bike using something like a regeared Diesel generator engine? Maybe even an LPG conversion.

The bike is a KLR650 modified by a company for the military.

Do some google searching. There's a ton of custom diesel bikes out there using generator engines. Look up Sommer motorcycles in Germany. With a little fabrication skill you could probably do it.

1959-60ish Moto Rumi Junior Gentleman. 125cc race bike.

They're very rare and have a cultish following online, especially for Moto Rumi scooters.

They wanted $800 for it, but parts are basically impossible to find and although I spent a lot of time considering it, I had to walk away. It was missing a LOT of stuff.

Hopefully it goes to someone who deserves it.
