Just got round to getting my boring Kawa er5 fixed up, it's a lot more boring now it's got new steering bearings and some actual pads in the front brake, it actually stops and goes round corners now with none of that exciting "is it suddenly going to decide to fall over" feeling. Realised I'm getting old, 110mph is plenty fast enough for me.

Anyone have any experiances with Victory Motorcycles. Im looking to get a bike in the next year or so. The Vegas Jackpots have me intrigued. Id be looking at around a 2006 or 2007 judging from prices.

The other choice which is totally different would be a 2002-2003 Tl1000R. It would be a copy of one that I helped a friend build & was unable to buy. Long story there. But it would come apart for paint & others things to replicate. This is the one I spent over 100 hours fixing the plastics & repainting.

I like the Victory line. Arlen Ness helped with the design, and it's evident in some of the models. American Made. They can be had for a decent price when compared to other American Made bikes.

Yep, American bikes with the best warranty in the market. Keep in mind though, while they're American you're going to need a metric toolkit to do anything on them. A buddy had an "8ball" and it seemed like every nut and bolt on it was metric.
