The Victory is a great bike I have been looking at the 8-ball myself they do have a bit of a rake on them though and tend to wobble when performing a low speed turn. But that just make them that much more fun to ride plus they are comfortable. As others have previously stated they do have a great warranty and are reliable. The TL is another great bike though I know I own one so I might be just a tad biased. I have an '02 and I can honestly say the TL has the most soul of any bike I have ever owned. Every time I start it I start grinning from ear to ear...and most people have no clue what it is and you get this WTF look from most of them. Plus it is a twin and there is just something about that twin rumble....That is a nice looking TL. | |

So I spent some time wrenching today to get a fake oil can installed since I switched to a cone filter over the stock box. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Drove down and picked this up yesterday. Traded an extra gun I got in trade for it. When I offloaded it from the truck last night, it was in gear and as I pushed it, I could hear it trying to fire. It only has one spark plug though. It came with an extra set of wheels and tires, two seats lots of little extras. Still need a tank though. There's some work to do but I *believe* it's all good mechanically. I need to clean it up and go through the wiring. What she looked like right off the truck: ![]() Speedo. Less than 13K miles: ![]() From the back: ![]() Passenger side. I'm guessing I'll need to replace the one cover on the side there: ![]() With the seat slid on and those nasty tassels taken off: ![]() And why the wife wouldn't let me part it indoors or even near a door: ![]()

Picked this up last Sunday. 1970 Triumph tiger 500cc with 10,093 miles on it. Currently getting it certified. It has some oddball cafe racer style bars on it now. Overall the bike is pretty mint. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I was/am still looking at a '67 Daytona with dual carbs. But it is in rough shape and the owner wont part with it cheaply. That is the bike I want build into my cafe racer. But it may take a while for it to happen. The tiger was restored in '92. top end rebuild, paintjob, and many misc. parts put on it. I only had to rewire the headlight so far.
