The past few days I've had classes for work about a 1hr 15mins away. Yesterday was a great day low of 50 high of 80. Both me and the instructor rode in, glad I rode, they are saying it suppose to be nasty this weekend.

The way things are going, I'll wind up with the VTX again, anyway. Not gonna gripe, as it really is a nice bike. It was just too much for me to handle when I got it.

Now, I'm feeling a lot more comfortable on bikes. I've already clocked a couple grand on the odometer, and haven't driven my car in weeks. I've done a benefit run and a few shorter trips already. I really love my Bonnie. A lot...

Sorry. My jaw hit the keyboard...

You are a man after my own heart. I couldn't do that to my precious Bonnie lass, but I've always dreamed of finding a garaged or a basket-case kick-start Bonnie to chop or bob. I don't think I could ever own another v-twin after having owned a parallel.

Speaking of Triumph, my dad has a 73 Bonnie he's been procrastinating about rebuilding for the better part of 15 years since he took it out of storage and put it back in the garage. I'm thinking for father's day this year I'd like to sneak up there over the course of the next few weeks and do some work on it for him to kind of give him a kick in the pants.

Does anybody know any good, informative Triumph forums they could recommend where I could get an inside line on parts and such?

It seems the go-to Triumph forum is Triumph Rat. Give it a peruse. They've helped me a lot.
