The midnight snack thread

I'm a late nighter and often cook full meals for myself after the wife goes to bed. She rolled her eyes at me as I fired up the grill at 11:30pm. Tonight's snack: Steak, Eggs, reheated mash, toast and homemade black raspberry jam (not pictured)

Late nighter, here too (though not always by choice, but by occupation).

Not uncommon at all to make a full meal in the wee hours of the morning, since it basically is my "lunch" time or "dinner" time, depending on the shift. Now that the weather is nicer, the coworkers and I will likely be firing up the 3 AM grill again on the slow nights.

eating that kinda stuff late at night is not good for ya (unless of course your schedule demands it and you're not going to sleep any time soon).

if I need to snack later I usually stick to something like bread with olive oil/balsamic, a handful of pistachios or a tiny serving of leftovers fried up on the stove.

Well like Luke my "Midnight snacks" are really my dinner so there's always 3-4 hours after I eat before I'm going to bed.

White Castle burgers (the frozen microwave kind) and some Alaskan White beer. Has filled the late night craving hole a time or two.
