New Futurama Episodes, am I the only one......

Ok, I absolutely love Futurama, and was bummed when it ended years back, now it's back. I don't know if it is just me having high hopes, or what it is, but does the writing seem sub par compared to the original's? Maybe they have a new writing staff or something, but the humor doesn't seem as witty, and on point as it usually always has been. The new episodes are good, just not great like the past seasons are, maybe its just me, I am curious to see what other Futurama fans think.

I agree. Writing definitely seems like it's not up to the same standard as the old episodes. Maybe they're just a bit rusty from the long hiatus. I'm still watching them.

I am definetly not boycotting them or anyhthing, just curious, it is still better than 99% of what's on TV. I am glad I am not the only one, let's hope they get back into that groove of hillarity they use to ride in so handily.

I watched it back in the day. Hilarious back then. I haven't had a chance to see the new ones yet.

American Dad, however, is consistently putting out A+ material recently

I gotta agree. O haven't been a fan of it until recently. Futurama is still great. Mow The Cleveland Show... Bleh. Haha.

I have experienced the same thing with South Park. Used to love it to death and was the literally the only thing I watched, now its slacking and not what it used to be.

How is American Dad? I hear a lot about it but never watch. It just seems like a Family Guy kinda comedy with unfunny jokes that are irrelevant to the plot.

No. That's The Cleveland Show. American Dad is actually getting quite watchable.

I counted no less than four math and science jokes that I'm sure 90% of the population would miss out on in the last episode of Futurama.

I think there are definitely some classic older episodes that are better than the newest ones, but there are still some rather hilarious moments nowadays.

Futurama from what I've seen to be honest I don't know what is new and what is old from the DVR recording them. Some are lame others are alright. It is what it is.

American dad has some family guy moments, but has more political humor to it.

All and all it's fun to watch.
