PADI Diver

Diving since age 17 with thousands of hours of dives. Prefer warm water to NE diving. Never tried cave diving but maybe someday before I retire.

Most I found was a 100 yo bottle but I didn't know about how to extract it from Salt Water and it cracked shortly after I brought it up. Would love to find some meg teeth, but I haven't been diving in years. Wife wants to learn, so maybe we'll do that together.

It sickened me to hear of it. I don't recall the shop or if they're even open anymore.

I have a VERY large Meg collection. I did Fossil diving as a business for about 6 months or so. Largest was 6.5 that i have found. I have held several 7", but put them down quick... They start out around 25 grand!

I collected mostly Pleistocene mammal material at the beginning of my dives, but just collect man made stuff now. Sell all the rest. Will get some pics up soon of some of the stuff in the museum her in Moncks Corner. My Dada and I are in charge of the Fossil, Bottle and artifact displays there. We do shows for school kids, divers and museums. I next show is this weekend at the Charleston Museum.

Happy Diving!

Alot of my diving is done in quarries, however I've dove in the florida keys 30+ dives or so...

I bet I dive with the guy who taught you

PDIC also going on 12 years now
I assist in classes and dive mostly in quarries ( cause they are close and cost me nothing to dive in )

PADI DSAT Tech Deep.Really fancy way of saying that I took lots of classes to still only go to 130 feet safely.

I was diving mostly in Florida on the Keys, warm water great viz. Best reef/wreck I dove on was the Doc Demilly, we hot dropped in just as a flock of eagle rays were flying over the wreck. Nothing like free falling 100 feet through those giant things.Got to be expensive and now my kids are older I can get them certified.

Ok... BVI Trip for MCB divers! Or something on those lines.

I haven't dove in a while, but was certified when I was 11 1/2 and was a divemaster when I turned 18

Mostly diving in the Virgin Islands, Bonaire, and the Caymans... I would rather have a skin suit than a wet suit on any day.
