What is the best way to get the money I earned in one country to another country after I move there? (or before) I'm looking at a few options but I have no experience doing this...

Open a bank account in the new country and transfer it via the internet to your account at home.

Get it all out of your bank in high-value bills in whatever currency you are switching to, and then carry it in a shallow pocket, showing it to anyone you meet. In all seriousness, I would open a bank account in the new country, and then paypal (or similar) it to the new one from the old one. Just out of curiosity, where are you moving? |

I do this myself a couple times a year. All I do is do a bank to bank transfer between two countries, it helps to send from a bank you have an account with in the new country, just make sure you have all your home bank details down to street address and bank swift number if possible. There will be a fee and the amount will vary bank to bank. The money (for me at least) is converted in transit . Just keep an eye on the exchange rates to get the most for your money being sent back.

another easy tactic. Open up a bank account in the new country. Use your debit card and find a free ATM and pull out funds and then just put that money into your new account. You will probably have to pay a currency exchange fee though.
