Maybe, but one listed application on the patent is projecting onto itself to make parts of the aircraft disappear at night. This would be a really fun thing to use to buzz football stadiums during night games... although I'm sure the FAA would pitch a fit. |

We have the technology, and this is the perfect application for DAYTIME use. Active camouflage - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Nighttime would in fact be more difficult to use this technology in, because it relies on light projection according to wikipedia.
