New from Smith and Wesson

When the S has Hit the Fan.. just go to that yellow case from S&W:

And if it has really really hit the fan..and you need to maybe stop a city bus in it's tracks.. then you grab the red case:

What calibers are those guns - it doesn't seem to say.

.357 and .44?

Nifty.

Yellow grip is .460

The red grip is .500

BIG Freaking bullets.

You have to click on Technical specs under the picture to get caliber, weight, etc.

How about a Pintel mount with a ransom rest?

Of course if you have bear coming at you and you have enough forthought to grab one of these I think you probably have enough adrenoline cranking through your system to hold this sucker steady for at least one shot.... but practicing with it has to be a real bitch.

With a 2 3/4 inch barrel it should make a dandy daily carry piece. Maybe a centenial version with the shrouded hammer? Seems S&W is getting carried away just a bit with the big bore little gun concept.

You'd have to be a very strong person to shoot one of those effectively.... But I'm sure if you pointed that at some one and said "I told you to leave me alone or I would shoot you" that they would turn tail.

I think the .460 is the best and baddest factory round made!!!

Shoot one in that short of a barrel... not many times.
