My new toy and stress relief

I recently acquired this from my sister who never road it and got it from my dad.
My dad got it from the original owner so the whole history of the toy is known.
This was what I rode for my first motorcycle and had a lot of them growing up.
I just let my son ride this as well and it was his first solo ride ;p
I used them for hunting and have carried out a bunch of 200+ lb deer on it.
Although I have another bigger bike as well now I will still enjoy riding this.

It is a 1964 Honda 90 with 6000 miles and a springer front end and runs like a champ. I also got a complete like new motor and transmission with it.
I am debating whether to leave this as is or to completely restore it including the paint job.
For now I shall tinker and ride as stress relief.

Sweet! I keep seeing things like this on Craigslist, but they're either not road-legal here or likely to get me killed.

Also,

Care to explain how?

Tied them on the side front to back and road side saddle to get them out.
The ones i had you had a high low tranny with a simple lever.
This one requires a extra length of chain and moving it to the bigger sprocket.

Pardon? By the time I was born, it was old enough to vote.
