Not sure how many of you have seen Goofy Goober Rock

I know this crowd tends to be a bit older, but I feel this deserves a post. The "goofy goober rock" from one of the spongebob movies is awesome. It is a take on "I wanna rock" by twisted sister, and the solo in the spongebob version honestly makes me wet my pants. It came out a while ago, but knowing how few of you probably watch spongebob, I think it might be new to many of you.

I suck at embedding, but here is the link, start it at 1:45 if you want to get right to the song. Do yourself a favor and watch until the end!

Spongebob Squarepants: Goofy Goober Rock [Full Version] - YouTube

forgive me, I love 80's rock!

This is one of my favorites- You can tell the writers were all kids in the 80s.

Note: The original writer left after the movie was released. The show itself was supposed to end there, but Nick decided to review the series without its principle writer. Kinda sounds like the old Ren & Stimpy mess.

Um... Of course I've seen it. "I'm a goofy goober yeah, I'm a goofy goober yeah..."

I'm a mid-90's child. Spongebob was my childhood. Although I have to say, they got pretty stupid after the Atlantis episode, if not right before it.

I love Spongebob Squarepants! My kids watch it. Can you guess who my favorite character is? Here is a hint. The Kurgan does his voice.

I'm so glad you posted that entire song. It's by far my favoritest episode, simply because of that song...

I much prefer the versions with metal synced up with it. That is the only way I have found that I can get through this thing. I just dont care for spongebob.

I remember when this movie came out.

Almost wet my pants at the "MY EYES" fish. Made the entire movie for me.
