Lots of great reasons to bring one and no good reason not to.

A very good reminder above and also if I may add another safety related topic...

If later in the night, you hook up with some random strange, don't forget to use protection.

Lots of great reasons to bring one and no good reason not to.

Be safe and have fun.

Fireworks are already loaded into the bed of the truck Was smart this year and opened all the morter shells and tossed them into ammo cans. Opening packaging at -30*F is a pain, so I preplanned.

That was fun two years ago, riding snow machines up to the UAF campus in -50* weather to watch fireworks in January. Alaska/Fairbanks in January is different...but it was fun.

As the year 2011 closes - spare a moment to remember all the things that others have done for you. As we look forward to 2012 think of ways to do things for others!

Have a safe and happy new year all and here's to a better next year!

/salute

Staying in tonight and I don't drink so no real issue there. Won't even need to worry about picking up a random stranger either so no real issue there either. Wow, I am boring.
