Saving Private Ryan is on TV

sweet, my disc is missing. This movie re-defined war movies. It didn't just raise the bar it re-invented it...

epic.

Still remember how epic it was in the theatres...

The best war movie ever, hands down. Wish I had it on DVD.

it's the rainy scene in the town with the sniper duel... Caparzo just got popped... awesome... love how he fell on a piano and played the perfect note...

Did someone say "Space Nazis"? And yes, Private Ryan is still the best war movie ever made. Our family isn't big on R-Rated movies, but my dad took me to see that in the theater when I was in high school because of how powerful it was/is.

Hands down my favorite movie.

I haven't found a war movie that I like more. I had high hopes for Red Tails but it wasn't as good as I'd hoped. Hard to top this movie.

Saving Private Ryan- Probably watched that one about a billion times, followed by Full Metal Jacket and then PLATOON

Rob just loves it because of Matt Damon. All of the war and *** kicking is just icing on the Damon cake.
