WOW! thank you, i really apreciate that. before my next attempt i will read this thoroughly. i can see steps i missed and tools i dont have. this is 100% better than the "guide" i was following from googling. have to get the video coming as well. sheath looks great as well! thanks again.

Tandy's webpage is great about offering tutorials and what not. Sometimes those little starter kits they sell are pretty good at giving you some small practice projects and tools to get you going with techniques too. Check your area for a Tandy Outlet store- their sales are excellent, and hopefully whomever runs it is as totally awesome as the ones in Anchorage. They answer questions and offer suggestions when you ask, as well as run classes you pay for. Pacer is just starting to get into it. I'm sticking to creating beaded accents as he needs them. It's easier on my hands.
