It's ugly, but functional ugly. That's a sort of beauty of its own.

I'd buy it. Looks Russion--like it has a job to do, does that, and doesn't care about anything else.

A US company just released some for the AR. Up to 75 rounds of 5.56x45, IIRC.

I'm interested to know how it will turn out with Russia's more tapered rounds.

I think AK's like this possess the same "ugly" quality that older work trucks have. They're ugly as sin, but that only adds to their awesome, because you know it will work when you want it to, and to heck with lookin' purdy.

Also, quad stack: SHOOT ALL THE BULLETS!
