1999 Subaru Forester S

Sure its a lesbomobile, but i can fit a ton of stuff in it, and it handles well in the snow!

Looking at an Outback or WRX as my next ride.

AWD FTW!

That IROC does it have the TPI 5.0 or the 5.7? I know that most of them came with the 5 liter but I had a buddy that had one that was a 5.7 with a 5 speed factory and that car was a blast to drive...

Torque steer is alot of fun if you know how to handle it. If you can't drive, then this car will come out from under you. I know someone who bought a 2008 speed and took it on a back road drive, conditions were dry but cold. he ended up wrecking the whole car around a mellow radius corner 3 weeks into owning his. One thing these cars suck for is winter snow, they are bricks and handle like crap.

its pretty bad.. accelerating out of a U turn will generally not go smoothly

trying to push it on an onramp while turning, also no a good plan unless your expecting the torque steer

general rule of thumb, if your turning, dont get the turbo spun up in the powerband

At least you have the option of expecting the torque steer.

I stopped driving my old jeep on the highway when I nearly sh1t my pants from the bump steer. I was down the off-ramp at a "modest" speed, when I hit a pretty good sized bump.

Suddenly the jeep is aiming right towards the guard rail, and oncoming traffic! Holy crap. I can just imagine what it will be like when I install some auto-lockers in the spring.

Careful, I got my DUI in a white Taurus, pulled over because I "matched the description of a vehicle used in burglaries in the area".
