My mom was diagnosed a few years ago, had the same procedures and so far she's doing well and so far cancer-free. The wife of the owner of a nearby field is also a survivor, and they're all participating in a local relay for life event.

Awesome, and send my best her way.
Same sort of thing happened to my mom. I know what it's like.
Now you get to relax a bit, between the relief and now that she won't be exhausted constantly from the chemo.
HurtCow:Sure, plastic is pretty innocuous. Beef maxi-pads won't hurt you.
russc:Yeah, mcdonalds hamburgers haven't killed me yet!

congrats man! that is truly amazing. I lost one of my aunts to breast cancer, so I know the hardships you must have dealt with. Very happy for you and your mom!

My wife and sister are both breast cancer survivors, so I know both the shock and dread that come with the diagnosis and the relief that comes with each clean scan. Congratulations.
