Any surfers here?
Hey, just wondering if there's any surfers out there? And I don't mean internet surfers :ROTFL:, if you do, how long and where do you like to surf?

I used to longboard a little bit. I live in Huntington beach but used to make the occasional trip down to San Onofre. It has been a while and I mostly bodyboard now though.

We should have an MCB surf meet up lol, I've been trying to learn how to short board lately, it sure is fun although I can only do a basic turn or two. I didn't know you surf pk5??

I used to regularly. Haven't in years though. Actually, I haven't since I joined the Army 2003. I miss it, but I'm to broken. I could but to be honest I'm afraid of screwing myself up and needing more surgeries.

I used to sidewalk surf when I was a kid. boards had metal skate wheels.

yes we had skate boards when I was a kid.

No broken bones but a lot of road rash.

I used to do plenty of surfing up here in NH. North Hampton Beach. Not bad waves overall. You're better off with a "fun board" up here due to the random conditions we have up here. Some days the waves are only waist high, and other days well over your head. Hit or miss.

I've gotten into skim boarding just recently to keep myself from getting bored on Cape Cod. Picked up a nice Victoria skim board. I don't care that I'm older... I've had more people come up to me and ask me questions because it looks like fun to them, I'm good at it (I guess), and I'm not 12.

I've let more people try it out, and borrow my board, and answered questions than I've actually spent riding it. Go figure.
