I used to longboard a little bit. I live in Huntington beach but used to make the occasional trip down to San Onofre. It has been a while and I mostly bodyboard now though.

Facta Non Verba
I used to regularly. Haven't in years though. Actually, I haven't since I joined the Army 2003. I miss it, but I'm to broken. I could but to be honest I'm afraid of screwing myself up and needing more surgeries.

I used to do plenty of surfing up here in NH. North Hampton Beach. Not bad waves overall. You're better off with a "fun board" up here due to the random conditions we have up here. Some days the waves are only waist high, and other days well over your head. Hit or miss.
I've gotten into skim boarding just recently to keep myself from getting bored on Cape Cod. Picked up a nice Victoria skim board. I don't care that I'm older... I've had more people come up to me and ask me questions because it looks like fun to them, I'm good at it (I guess), and I'm not 12.
I've let more people try it out, and borrow my board, and answered questions than I've actually spent riding it. Go figure.
