The Lottery

Well, it looks like the "Mega Millions" Lottery is up to $540 million dollars. That's over half a billion dollars. Too bad I'm under 18

After Govt. Taxes it would be more like $340 million, but that's still a ****-ton of money.

I played 5 quick picks last week and won $10. Going to be using all these proceeds for tickets in the next drawing.

Is this the largest ever MM jackpot?

It's the largest lotto drawing in US History. THE BIG ONE.

Apparently you have better chances of being struck by lightening while being mauled by a polar bear, but hey, it only takes one

We Canadians can play their lotteries and I am pretty sure we get to keep almost 100% of the money!

Odds of winning the lottery 1 in 176 million
Amount of jackpot 540 million, or about 350mil for cash in hand

Step 1. Go get a loan for 176 million dollars, buy one ticket for every single possible combination of numbers

Step 2. Now have a 1 in 1 chance of winning lottery

Step 3. profit

I'm a genius, why hasn't anyone thought of this before?

I don't buy tickets regularly but hell, for over $500 million it's worth a shot, so I put $5 down on my way home from work.. Just imagine the paintball tank I could build with that sort of scratch....
