Bacon lovers can now be buried in style AND bacon

A coffin for bacon lovers to die for - US news - Weird news -

SEATTLE ó Do you love bacon to death? Is your dying wish to be buried in bacon?
The local company behind Bacon Salt and Baconnaise is making it happen.
J&Dís Foods has created the Bacon Coffin, what they call the worldís first bacon-wrapped casket.
See the original story at KING
"Yes, this is really real," wrote J&D owners Justin Esch and David Lefkow in a press release.
ďBacon Coffins are finished with a painted Bacon and Pork shading and accented with gold stationary handles. The interior has an adjustable bed and mattress, a bacon memorial tube and is completed in ivory crepe coffin linens."
The Bacon Coffins are available for $2,999.95 plus shipping.
In the email announcing the Bacon Coffin, Justin and Dave added, "Donít you judge us, after baconlube (bacon flavored personal lubricant), we all knew it was just going to keep getting weirder. And yeah, your (sic) right weíre probably going to hell for this one."

I like it. Funerals in my opinion should be a celebration of a persons life and if they have a sense of humor, or simply just love bacon, then this is the perfect fit for them

Where's the bacon? All I see is a box with a ****ty paint job, bury me in that ugly thing and I'll come back from the dead and put you in the box.

If my body can be found after I die, the cheapest wood box would be fine. If you want to waste some money on it, soak it in gasoline, set it on fire and drop it from a plane over a mountain or ocean, bonus points for skydiving with it.

Hrm..since I'm getting frozen so I can live forever, I'd rather invest the $3k in bacon at the time of my death so I have some notes when they thaw me out.
My Feedback
