G-Saviour (ジーセイバー Jī seibā?) is a live-action made for television film set in the Gundam metaseries, set in the Universal Century timeline. It also officially marks the last events of the Universal Century.

The project's actors are predominantly from Canada, and the Japanese language version has Japanese dubbed into the movie.

Here's a trailer. The entire trailer is dubbed over with Gundam 00 (ick) but everything you see is from G-Savior.

0:14 so what, in the future chemicals are all suddenly magically completely harmless to the point you never need gloves lab coats and goggles to perform a chemical reaction?

Everyone needs to see Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. Life is not complete without it. I'd reccomend the movies (Gurren-Hen, and Lagann-Hen, both available on youtube)

@ccmphotographer wow that was pretty bad... Ha oh man gundam 00 was good for a little bit. That also went to my "forget it" list.

@sincera saw that series. I liked it. Probably the most character development I've ever seen in a single series. It was quirky and serious at the same time and sometimes utter nonsense. It had something for everyone.

The movies added about 45 minutes of new animation to each one, and really made some ideas more complete IMO. There is one scene in the series where Simon insta-telleports to Rossieu that was better but that's about it.

But glad to see people are well versed in awesomeness.

My real intro to Gundam was Gundam Wing. I tried to watch various other series and have just been meh on most of them. I don't think I've even completed an entire series since Wing. Admittedly, in part on a few of them it was availability of episodes at the time. Might have to revisit seed and 8th sometime.

I have to say, I think lately the new crops of animes have been really good. I am totally addicted now to Shinsekai Yori, Zetsuen no Tempest and Psyco Pass. I've also started watching Zettai Karen Children The Unlimited, don't really feel like I am missing much not having seen the precursor and its a fairly typical psyker fight anime with a few twists.

Had a long weekend, so went through Break Blade. I had hopes for it, but struggled to finish it as it started to feel very contrived.

In refernce to an earlier question. I watch mostly Food, Science and History type shows and some black & white old westerns on occasion. The only current live action drama I watch is Arrow and Elementry. I haven't been watching a lot of western anime recently, nothing has really appealed to me lately, its just a matter of if something catches my eye enough to make an effort to watch.

Does fan-translated manga count? I read a couple things online occasionally. Or through my phone when work is slow. I used to always hit up initial d when I went to the mall bookstore, but that was when I was in middle school. Initial d is still cool. But I've never actually bought one to start making a library.

it's just i find some of the mangas are actually better written than their anime conversion.
