I STILL recommend checking out Monster.

For another fun show, Desert Punk is a good watch. The jokes written into the show for the English dub are hilarious! I HAVE DREAMS.
I agree about not watching in english. The voice acting is soo much better the singers actually sound like they could be singers. I could not get over how bad the songs sounded with the English voice actors.

I watched monster it was deep and a good psychological thriller but at the end of the show i could not help the feeling that I sure would like to just shoot the antagonist and get it over with already.

If you want another good psychological thriller Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (When They Cry - Higurashi) is a really good one. It actually creped me out pretty bad.
Serial Experiments Lain is another one to put on the psychological thriller type list.

Claymore is also a good one. Definitely worth checking out now that they re-released the entire set. Youtube it.

Gundam Wing
Gundam 7th MS Team
Zone of the Enders
Cowboy Bebop
The Big-O
Evangelion 1.11, 2.22.
Ghost in the Shell ( all of it )
Black Lagoon
Claymore
Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood
Outlaw Star
Darker than Black
Macross Saga

Macross Quarter looks good but I haven't seen it in the states yet.

Add me to the list on that one. its a shame the creator passed away in the middle of the second part of it I guess, so there won't be anymore.

Claymore is one of the few I've read the manga for, the anime started great then they started mucking around with it so I ended disappointed.

Lets see, some I really enjoyed, no real order:
Hellsing (original, haven't seen the entire new one)
Fairytail
Macross plus
Ghost in the Shell
Trinity Blood
Gundam Wing
Kaze no Stigma
Deadman Wonderland
Murder Princess
Gasaraki
Noir
Rurouni Kenshin
Black Blood Brothers
Prince of tennis (up til the national tournament)
Hikaru No Go
Dance in the Vampire Bund
Kenichi
Witch Hunter Robin
Nura: Rise of the Youkai Clan
Bodacious Space Pirates (this is one i just started on, through 8 episodes pleasantly surprised)

I could come up with a few more as well. Have a lot of series on Hulu I have partway watched, but haven't finished. So much better then the old days of randomly buying series hoping I lucked out or finding them on obscure satalite channels. There were a lot of older ones I loved at the time, but i try and watch them now and they are almost painful, I am spoiled by all the modern stuff.

Is Macross Quarter the same as Macross Frontier? If so I've seen the fansub for it, was dispointed in the last half, though their were some excellent scenes throughout.
