I will probably finish HOTD sometime this week. About halfway through it. must be getting old, the gratuitous fan service isn't doing much either for me. that said, so far aside from that I don't have many complaints on it, I don't know that it would be towards the top of my list but still not bad. I'll toss a couple of other ones out as well I liked, some older ones. Gargoyles (yes I know it was disney but IIRC it still falls in the anime category.) Genocyber (soundtrack still gives me chills) .Hack//sign (haven't really watched any of the others) slayers 4 movies on my "affected my anime for life" list. Akira Vampire Hunter D Ghost in the shell Ninja scroll Its been many many years since I watched these, but I liked them at the time, now they are pretty dated. casshern (sins was ok, but I guess i liked the original better, or at least remember I do.) Vandread 8 man after cyber city oedo 808

Just got garden of sinners. Kara no kyoukai or something like that. Gonna see how that goes. The eps are kinda long... Still working on Eden of the east. Kids on the slope is cool, I'm a jazz fan and it works for me. Acchi kocchi, because a good love story / slice of life anime has to be mixed in there somewhere with all the drama. Who's into ovas? I liked pale cocoon and cencoroll. Those were so cool one off sets.

I'm watching Last Exile right now. I like it as a form of "sophisticated" steampunk. I'm relying on Netflix (...), so I'm at the mercy of whatever language track they select. So far, the English dubbing is pretty good. I don't hate everyone yet, which is a terrific start! I'm on episode 6, I think...

I got it a bit after I posted, just didn't wanna edit...lol About last exile, I thought the first season was amazing. Season 2 wasn't doing it for me, but is still worth checking out. On another note the certain magical index / certain scientific railgun series was cool to me because the male characters weren't a bunch of wussies. They brought the fight and made it worth it. And I think I saw someone post Durarara. I never understood the title but loved the twists throughout the story. Speaking of twists Steins;Gate was a good paranoia / mind bender
