Started Hyouka a couple days ago. Good for fans of KyoAni, and mystery / school life anime.

long day, so came home and veg'd out. Had watched the first two episodes of accel world a few weeks ago, and was rather ho hum about it. Saw episode 5 was released so decided to watch 3-5 and see if it got more interesting/less whinny. well, half is better then none, so I guess it will go on my weekly rotation for now since bleach ended and naruto is in filler mode. concept is interesting, a couple of ok twists and potential for a good ol fashioned war against the world. finished HOTD, mixed feelings on it. the ultra mega fanservice was just a bit overwhelming, and while the meta plot worked ok, the last few episodes had me really going WTF on some of the plot. silent mobius, now thats is a title i haven't seen in a long time. debating if I should start looking for a new series or finish out one of the dozen or so on my list I am only half through.

While I am thinking about it, I thought i'd bring something up that I noticed lately about my viewing habits. Anyone else have a certain attribute that strongly affects your viewing preferences? In my case, I've really noticed lately that I key in on sound and background music. Its not a make or break thing, but I've noticed that even a good visual, decent plot show (anime, live action, doesn't matter) will have a much larger chance of loosing my interest if it lacks interesting music and sound then ones with good back ground music and sound. I just seem to key in on shows with it.
