Went back and finally checked out Paprika. Been meaning to watch that for a long time. Great movie. Satoshi Kon is a genius.

I'll be the first person to point out the flaws of Naruto, but they've been doing a really good job on shippuden lately.

true enough. Seeing the first few hokages has been cool. First is so goofy and everyone is like "He has no presence." until he and second flare their power just a tiny bit and almost level the place. Dude! The Madara and First Hokage fight was pretty cool too.

I've recently started Log Horizon, since I liked sword art online so much. Other than it being a video game based anime the storyline is very different so far. I really like it.

Also watching SAOII. Interested twist on the virtual reality genre and possibilities.

Loving SAO II. I may be turning into a fanboy for the whole thing. Then again star wars references are awesome, and Kirito's entire combat style in the current arc is based around one.

I watched SAO I before Log Horizon and expected it to be much of the goofy same.

Pleasantly surprised by Log Horizon and enjoyed it a lot more.

I agree log horizon was so much better than sao as someone who spent a long time raiding in a top 100 in the us guild in wow.

I really appreciate the minute detail they go into about mmorpgs.

SAO is so much more intense, but Log Horizon has that interesting, thinker feel. I like them both. I also really liked No Game No Life, which has a similar theme, sort of. That is just plain funny.
