I downloaded the Despecialized Edition. There is no better. Well, except for the as of yet uncompleted Despecialized Edition 2nd Ed.

Watched it on DVD tonight. To many commercials on TV.
I remember the hugh to do the first time Star Wars was broadcast on TV.
I'm sure if i dug through some old tapes i could find the recording of it.

The Despecialized Edition isn't just the original theatrical release. While those are good, these are arguably better.

I prefer the original VHS rips (thats what i have). All this color correction and upscaling business, imho killing it. While i applaud harmy's work, i dont see the need for the bettering of the originals that he does.
