Oh my God, I (thankfully) have never seen the 2004 SE, as I have the original, undumbed versions on VHS. I was going through Harmy's gallery, and, oh man, I don't even. It's terrrrrible.

The wife and I have the 2006 dvd releases that have both the ruined and original theatrical versions.
You can guess which versions we watch.

After picking up the Despecialized Editions, pick up some re-edits of episodes 2 & 3 (The Attack of the Phantom is my suggestion for episode 2, still need to find a good episode 3 edit), and then watch all five movies in Machete order. Suddenly I have a purpose for my 3-day weekend.

my original copies are on Beta.... but I'd kinda like to download these de-specialized and also record them onto beta for awesomeness. sure I'd lose some quality but the quality on beta never bugged me, but the old tapes have been played so much so they are a bit worn (not as bad as VHS gets though)

Oddly, the title makes sense when you watch them in order. Ep1 angry, Ep2 more angry, Ep3 super angry, Ep4 series saved!
