Talk about being lucky

Teen survives spear to the head

Now there is a scar with a story behind it

Not the first object to lodge in somebodies and not the last. He might suffer from memory issues or other conditions but at least the kid is still alive and well considering the injury.

For the record, this is why you NEVER load your gun in the boat. Spears should ALWAYS be loaded once you're in the water.

Where's the fun in that? This is the best thing since lawn darts!

exactly, taking it out was a mistake. nobody is going to believe his story when they ask about the scar. he'd have to demonstrate it in front of them by shoothing himself again.

"That? Oh that's nothing.... just a scar from where I got shot in the head by a speargun. No big deal. Your lip piercing is really hard-core though."

This was on the local news when I was in the waiting room at the optometrist yesterday. I saw the teaser before a commercial break, then forgot to pay attention when it came back on. I noticed it when they started talking about the surgery to remove it, and my first thought was, "Damn...I wish I'd seen the beginning of this story, 'cause now I'm curious about exactly HOW he got a spear in his face."

Truth. Those things in hands I don't know and trust scare me more than air dives below 200'. I'd prefer if everyone stuck to slings, tyvm.

Air Power Vector, for the man that has climbed to the peak and wants to look down on the beaten and defeated opponents left in his wake.
