How many of you guys started playing BECAUSE of paintball in a movie? I know I did.

I remember it clearly, it was "Zero Boys" in 1986. Nobody wore masks, and it was ultra mil-sim, but I became obsessed. (Oddly, nearly the same story as the recent "Paintball: The movie")

It set the standard on how I view paintball. I'm sure others were the same, so paintball in hollywood does have an influence.

How many kids not gonna be allowed to try the game now that their parents see that on TV?

Sorry if this thread has already happened.
We must've watched entirely different movies or something. That scene was funny.

I guess then, that the scene in Van Wilder: The Rise of Taj was equally disturbing because they dared to allow the actors to lift their masks between engagements so you could tell who they were?

Lighten up, that kind of anger will eat you up.

He did wear it...just saying.
