And, yeah, what a crappy way to "end" this version of the series. Ending with unfinished storylines is so overrated.
About the time that he knew who batman was, why else would they show an otherwise somewhat unimportant character.

I must agree. It felt like there could have been some better explaining for the uninformed audience. Great movie tho

I'm giving it a solid "just okay" rating.

your rating must be more severe

Hahaha

In that case, here's what I didn't like about it:

-Blatant whoring of 9-11 symbolism. We get it. It was annoying, not emotional.

-Zero follow through on Bain's threats of providing people with false "hope". He did like...one thing. Wasted opportunity to really make something great.

-Predictable, one dimensional plot. I felt like I was watching a Rocky movie.

-Instead of giving the people any semblance of resilience, it turns out they can't do anything without Batman. Nothing. He has to do a bunch of pushups and then save their bacon again. This time he gets a statue though, because they think he's dead.

-Batman doesn't have to learn any lessons or grow up. The series ends with him being the same old drama queen he always was. Alfred gives him wonderful, heartfelt advice and he heeds none of it, but still succeeds.

I think in any cartoon, video game or comic where Bane is one of two or several villians, he is always portrayed as the "muscle" of the operations. He is not a mindless thug but isnt the one pulling the strings behind the scenes in those types of situations.

I wished though he came with the venom / titan formula. At the very least they could have given him a syringe to boost up and get diesel. Its like having a Heath Ledger with red hair instead of green. Great performance but something is not quite the same.

Overall, I thought the movie was good.

Also, when Batman escaped from the "pit" wasnt it 22 or 23 days before the bomb exploded? When he returned to Gotham he had 18 hours left before detonation... no?
