Aww, In all honesty that doesn't phase me one bit. Maybe its because I'm going to school to learn to fly... I fly all the time and I never get nervous..

That plane was either overloaded or improperly balanced. Fluke air pocket my ***! This pilot should criminally charged for even attempting the takeoff when it's obvious the plane would not perform as needed he should have aborted and rechecked the way it was loaded the CG and of course the weights.

Ouch! Glad they all made it. Lifting 4 adults on a hot day is a lot to ask of an old Stinson with only 150 or 165 hp (even more so if this was at any sort of altitude).

I feel bad for the loss of a classic plane.

And that's why you turn off all electronic devices during takeoff, kids.

As a private pilot, if I had been flying, I would have definitely aborted the flight during takeoff. There were multiple indications that he wasn't getting the performance desired, and that should have told him to end the flight before he got into the trees.

While watching I felt something was strange about the way he was swinging and how they weren't really climbing. I have never done any flight training or anything related to flying (besides actually being in the econo class of a plane...) and even I thought something was off about everything going on. Small leisure craft are far scarier than larger passenger craft.

It all went so fast it wasn't "scary" but I do feel for the man in the grey shirt. That has to suck!
